Our story

How did it all begin?

In 2007, entrepreneur Jana Lindberga, architect Mareks Birznieks and graphic designer Everita Upeniece opened the concept boutique Madam Bonbon in Rīga’s Art Nouveau district. Its younger sister, Miss Bonbon, followed a few years later, and in 2018 Jana joined the two into BONBON SHOES – today a shoe boutique in Bibliotēkas nams, the Library House. One thing has never changed: our love for high-quality footwear.

Where it began

A boudoir in the Art Nouveau district

The earliest Bonbon rooms were styled like a private salon — antique sofas, patterned walls and warm lamplight, with each pair set out like something to be discovered.

The footwear and bags at Bonbon Shoes guarantee original style and are proof of good taste. Every collection is carefully selected — created by the most skilled European shoe and accessory designers, for the highest quality and comfort, and, most importantly, in step with the latest world fashion.
